Your first visit

Four steps, no surprises

New to us? Here is exactly how your first appointment unfolds.

  1. Say hello

Tell us about your teeth, any worries and what you'd like to get out of the visit.

  2. Gentle check

A careful examination, with a pause whenever you need one. Just raise a hand.

  3. Clear plan

We talk through what we found, your options and the timing, all in plain words.

  4. Your pace

Book the next step only when you are ready. There's never any pressure.

Our approach

Comfort is part of the treatment

We slow things down on purpose. A calmer appointment is easier on you and leads to better, more careful work.

  • We explain before we begin, every time.
  • We agree a stop signal with you, and we honour it.
  • We start with prevention, then the smallest fix that works.
We would rather spend ten extra minutes listening than rush a single step.
Been a while?

No judgement, just a fresh start

Whether it has been one year or ten, we will pick things up from wherever you are.

FAQ

Good questions

The things people most often ask before booking.

I get anxious at the dentist. Can you help?

Yes. Let us know when you book, and we will allow extra time, explain each step first, and agree a signal so you can pause whenever you like.

What happens at a first appointment?

We start with a chat about your history and goals, then do a gentle examination and finish with a clear, unhurried talk about what we found and your options.

From what age can children visit?

Once the first teeth appear is a great time. Early, relaxed visits help children see the dentist as a normal, friendly part of life.

What if I have sudden tooth pain?

Send a request and choose "Pain or urgent concern" as the reason. We prioritise these and set aside time each day for urgent visits.
